Well, I think it’s the 6 pounds I gained in 10 days and the extra hour earlier that I’ll be waking up to work it off! I know we ate well, I guess I didn’t realize just how well. Ugh.

Our friend Brian left the States for Kyrgyzstan last week. It’s in central Asia. He joined the Peace Corps and will be teaching English there (among many other things I’m sure) during the next two years. So now we have two friends doing really cool things on that continent.

Both Obama and McCain are left handed so it looks like either way I win! Since 1974 two-thirds of the presidents have been left handed – Ford, Reagan, Bush and Clinton! Odd when you consider how few lefties there are.
