Mo

Mo grew up in St. Louis. If you’re from St. Louis, the answer to your next question is Mehlville. She has five sisters, two brothers-in-law and more than 50 pairs of shoes. She also has a super-awesome husband who is very handsome and thoughtful.

After moving to Springfield in 1998 to study journalism and political science at Southwest Missouri State University, Mo returned home to the Lou. She was then banished to Joplin for nine months and escaped to Springfield to work as a copy editor for the News-Leader. Now the features page designer, she finally has a daytime schedule and weekends off.

Her interests include fashion, shopping, media and news, reading fiction books, working out, running, yoga, cooking and watching PBS shows on Sunday mornings. Her dislikes include baked beans and the word “persons.”
